For the relief of painful conditions of the mouth and throat, including:

  • Tonsillitis
  • Sore throat
  • Radiation mucositis
  • Aphthous ulcers
  • Pharyngitis
  • Swelling
  • Redness and inflammatory conditions
  • Post orosurgical and periodontal procedures

Difflam Forte Throat Spray is sugar free, so suitable for diabetics.

Ingredients:
Benzydamine hydrochloride 3mg/ml, Ethanol, Saccharin sodium.

Precautions (check with pharmacist before use if any of the following apply):
Renal and or hepatic impairment; prolonged use; pregnancy.

Dosage:
Use the long nozzle to direct spray onto the affected area for relief of painful conditions of the mouth or throat.

Adults: Spray 2-4 sprays directly onto the sore/inflamed area (and swallow gently). Repeat every 1.5 hours to 3 hours as necessary.
Children (6-12): Spray 2 sprays directly onto the sore/inflamed area (and swallow gently). Repeat every 1.5 hours to 3 hours as necessary. Not recommended for children under the age of 6.

After use, the nozzle should be wiped with a tissue to prevent blockage. It is important that the unit be stored in an upright position.

Do not use for more than 7 days.

Warnings: Do not exceed the stated dose. If pain persists, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes.

Side effects: Oral numbness, burning, stinging.
